CHIYAN Jewelry is by Hong Kong–born, Brooklyn-based flame worker and jeweler Chi Yan Tse. With over a decade of experience shaping glass in the flame, Chi creates pieces from borosilicate glass and sterling silver, forming artful designs meant to be worn and loved. Rooted in slow fashion, her work honors craftsmanship, mindful creation, and the quiet beauty of imperfection.

Chi’s journey began in college, where she was studying jewelry design. One glassblowing class changed everything. The moment she saw molten glass glowing in the flame, she was captivated. “I was like a moth to the fire,” she recalls. That fascination with the movement and light of glass became the heart of her creative practice.

Over the years, that spark grew into CHIYAN Jewelry, a line born from the desire to create pieces that are bold, stylish, and gentle on the skin. Tired of the sameness of fast fashion jewelry, Chi wanted to make something more intentional—pieces that balance strength and softness, artistry and wearability.
